Diversity is Our Strength
Levey is a socio-economically and culturally diverse school.  Families of all faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds are active parts of our community.
Levey students come from Portland, South Portland, Westbrook, Saco, Cape Elizabeth, Gray, Scarborough, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Freeport, Popham, and Gorham.
Parent Involvement
An Arts Emphasis
The Arts are abundant in everything our students do and learn.  Performing arts, visual arts, and music are central to the core of our program.
Levey parents are actively engaged partners with the school.  There is a vibrant Parent Association which holds frequent family get togethers at local parks, Sea Dogs, Red Claws, and Mariners games, meet ups to ice skate, bowl, among a host of other activities.
In the Classroom
Low student:teacher ratio
A rigorous, personalized program for all students pre-K to middle school.
There are four homerooms in our Lower School (PK-5).   There is one homeroom in Upper School (6-8)
Expert teachers who are great partners with parents.
Foreign Language
Hebrew Language instruction begins in Pre-Kindergarten and continues throughout middle school.

We Love the Outdoors

Our students go outside for recess and other outdoor learning experiences in all sorts of weather.  We partner with our families to ensure that each child has rain and snow gear so our students are safe and ready, can get fresh air, and be active and engaging with our natural world.
