Levey Day School is embarking on a strategic transformation to ensure long-term sustainability and educational excellence.

Phase 1:

2025-26 School Year 

In response to sustained high scholarship rates and enrollment challenges, the school has minimized operations for the 2025-26 school year. Even with the adjustments, Levey Day School continues to: 

• Offer preschool through 2nd grade classrooms, programming, and after care enrichment

• Maintain signature small class sizes and personalized attention

• Remain committed to giving children the best possible academic and social education driven by Jewish culture and values

Phase 2:

2026-27 School Year 

Our dedicated Board is actively preparing a targeted reopening of the 2026-27 school year with a sustainable growth model:

• Opening 2-3 classrooms with carefully managed enrollment

• Balancing educational excellence with fiscal responsibility

• Hiring an experienced Head of School to lead academic vision and day-to-day operations. More details about the search process, timeline, and position requirements will be shared in the coming months.
