Levey Day School is a distinguished not-for-profit educational institution governed by a self-perpetuating Board of Trustees.
Our board comprises current and former parents, distinguished professional educators, and respected community leaders who collectively bring extensive expertise in education, finance, management, leadership, and the arts and sciences.
United by a shared commitment to excellence, the Board of Trustees serves two primary functions: to appoint and support the Head of School, and to establish strategic policies that shape the school's vision and ensure its continued success for generations to come.
About the Board
Trina Carroll, President
Trina brings deep expertise in child development and educational leadership to her role as President. She holds a master's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development, and in the final stages of completing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
Before joining Levey Day School, Trina spent years in the mental health field as a case worker, supporting foster youth and children facing mental health challenges. Through this work, she developed an unwavering commitment to ensuring that every child has access to the resources and support they need to thrive—values that guide her leadership today.
As a proud member of the Passamaquoddy Tribe, Trina brings cultural richness and indigenous wisdom to her work, fostering an environment of inclusivity, respect, and holistic care. Her leadership style is characterized by warmth, authenticity, and a genuine passion for helping every student reach their full potential.
Outside of school, Trina finds joy in cooking and sharing meals with family and friends, cultivating her garden, travel, and spending quality time with her four children and their very furry German Shepherd, Alfie.
