Exercise is more than just running laps and playing sports, and our hope is for our students to understand the many different ways they can exercise and why it’s so important. We teach students as many different forms and styles of fitness, in hopes they discover what they are most passionate about.
In our Physical Education Class we practice team building exercises, and play sports and field games. We emphasize the importance of fitness and learn how to have fun while exercising. We are very lucky to have partnered with Portland Community Squash this year, to allow our 3rd-5th graders to come weekly to learn, practice and play squash on the courts!
