Social Studies

We use an interdisciplinary approach to social studies, integrating language arts, science, math, and technology into thematic investigations in lower school. Students participate in hands-on, experiential, and research-oriented activities in all grades.

Social studies is one of the core subjects in upper school (grades 4-8).  A spiraling curriculum helps give all of our upper school students the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their social studies/civics classes in high school.
