DASH WEEK is underway! Monday, Jan. 7-Friday, Jan. 11: The theme is space, a school-wide DASH week topic. Most, if not all, school instruction will be centered around the theme of space. More info to come from your child’s homeroom teacher. Planetarium Visit — Friday, Jan. 11 — We’re excited to head to the Planetarium! 1-2PM. We are thinking ahead to February vacation and looking to offer a Levey Vacation Camp that week. The break is from Monday, February 18 to Friday, February 22. Please take a moment to complete the doodle polls below so we can accurately gauge interest in a camp. Thank you! Morning start time is 8:30. The camp would run in two sessions — 8:30 am-12:00pm and 12:00 pm-3:30 pm. 8:30 am-12:00 pm cost is $45.00. 12:00-3:30 cost is $45.00. The full day cost is $80.00. More info to come! Levey Slime Fest ’19! We are hosting and sponsoring a PJ Library event on Sunday, March 3 1:30-3:00pm within our halls and classrooms. Share with friends! This is a family-friendly event, and it’s also a terrific marketing event for the school for prospective families. We hope to have all our preschool friends all over the area in attendance! After Care Enrichment — New trimester, new classes! We began our new After Care classes. Please be sure to fill out the new form for this Trimester as the daily themes have changed and Rachel will need a record of which days students attend. This session we will be working on projects based on the day’s theme. The form is below. Spirit Days! We are seeing many more students wearing Levey swag! Each Friday is Spirit Day — order yours today! We have a very limited number of Levey swag items leftover from last year. They’re hanging near the office entrance. First come, first serve! It’s cold outside, and we’re having a ball! Just a reminder — please make sure to pack snow pants, water resistant mittens, hat, boots and any other warm garments they need for outdoor recess. We go outside in all kinds of weather! Morah Kristine’s Levey Arts blog is amazing! It is full of photos of our students. We have a Children’s Museum Pass in the office. It is good for groups up to 6. Just ask for the form, and we will ensure your desired date is reserved for the pass.
