Dear Levey Families and Friends, We hope everyone had a fantastic long weekend commemorating Martin Luther King, Jr. Our primary class students did a really snap-up job on their Habitat presentations this morning! Give them a high-five when you see them! Re-enrollment time is here! The admissions office mailed out re-enrollment packets to all families this morning. Be sure to look for yours. There is a brand-new form called “Intent to Return” — we would be grateful for you to send that back to us as soon as possible. We are attaching it electronically to this email, too. You can simply hit “reply” and give us your answer. It asks if your family is returning for the 2019-2020 school year. A big thank you to those families who braved the cold and began their day with us so early on Thursday as WMTW-Chanel 8 came to do Weather at our school. It was an amazing couple of hours. The school got very good press for the event. It was awesome to have so many Levey families present at such an early hour. KUDOS! Reminder...Our goal is to be outside as often and as much as possible, so please make sure to pack snow pants, water-resistant mittens, hat, boots and any other warm garments students need for outdoor recess.

Vacation Camp during Winter Break! The break is from Monday, February 18th to Friday, February 22nd. We are happy to announce Morah Kim Berry will be the teacher facilitating vacation camp on February break! Get ready for an exciting week! If you are interested in enrolling your child in vacation camp, please look at the 3 available daily options. We will be sending out a Sign Up Genius later this month for those interested in applying! Kim may be available for *extended* hours past 3:30 pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Currently there is not enough enrollment for full days and afternoon sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We need at least two students to run a session. However, please call or write us if you are interested in a time/day that is currently not available.

The Kahn-Troster/ Freidenreich family is going a hockey game on February 24, and we wanted to see if any other Levey families want to join us! The Maine Mariners will be playing the Worchester Railers at 3pm at the Cross Insurance Arena in downtown Portland. It only takes 10 people to get the group rate of $14 a ticket! We are hosting and sponsoring a PJ Library event on Sunday, March 3 1:30-3:00pm within our halls and classrooms. Share with friends! This is a family-friendly event, and it’s also a terrific marketing event for the school for prospective families. We hope to have all our preschool friends all over the area in attendance!
